Almost eleven years ago, we crossed the threshold into the new millennium and it is now unmistakably clear that man on earth willingly or not, is experiencing a rapid reawakening. If we begin with the horrifying terrorist attack on 911 it appears as if we have been spiraling downward… rapidly.

Since the begining of the millennium we have witnessed unthinkable acts of violence and aggression, deceptive business practices and corporate scandals that lead to the largest bankruptcy in American history. Unprecedented bank closings, real estate lending debacles, soulless and incompetent political leaders with cheating hearts, and natural catastrophes which have all struck a bloody blow to our consciousness and a rapid and a massive breakdown of our economic system.

It may all sound pretty bleak, yet I choose to believe “it is always darkest before the dawn” and miracles can and do happen. After all, if in 2004 the Boston Red Sox’s could break their 84 year curse of the Bambino … we can easily break the illusionary spell of fear and failure.

If you look closely you’ll notice we’re now moving into an Alice in Wonderland World where down is Up and up is Down or as Dorothy would say in the Wizard of Oz “Toto, I don’t think we’re in Kansas anymore.” We’re reaching and stretching outside our perceived limits and seeing just how far we can go. And this is good… this is very good.

We are being asked to change our perspective of a world “out there” and understand our relationship to the world “in here.” The daunting question is: how do we begin this process of change? We can begin with a better understanding of why we are who we are as individuals and why we are here. We need to discover what our Path, Mission or Destiny is in Life.

This is the secret to living a miraculous life. It is all about knowning your purpose and living your passion. When you have discovered these gifts, your life will take on a miraculous and surreal quality that transcends physical limitations. Time not only stands still… it ceases to exist. Your consciousness expands and what once were the lines of seperation between living and working will fade away …and more importantly you bless and heal the world with your truth.

Yet today many people are still of the belief that work is something we have to do in order to do the things we really want to do.

Here are some of the excuses we use for not doing what we really want:

“Can’t afford to”
“Don’t have the training”
“It’s too foolish”
“I have no idea what I really want to do!”

If you find yourself agreeing with any of those statements, I challenge you to rethink your excuses. Everyday, hobbies turn into full time livings and people who think they haven’t a clue as to what they really love to do, discover in the most bizarre ways, the life they were meant to live. Remove the paper thin wall of your limited thinking and believe and know that anything is possible. And remember; “The curse of the Bambino…”
